Configure the face liveness detection parameters. Changes are saved to your browser's local storage and will persist across sessions.
Performance Settings
Lower FPS reduces CPU usage. Default: 10 (matching Android app)
Detection Settings
Detect natural blinks to verify liveness
Detect smiles to verify liveness
Detect head movements (left, right, up, down) to verify liveness
Moiré Detection (Anti-Spoofing)
Detect screen/print replay (moiré patterns) on a few sampled frames per Smile/Blink stage. When on, it contributes to the liveness score.
Injection-Attack Detection
Browser-feasible checks against deepfake/video-injection attacks (virtual cameras, API hooking, spliced footage). Each is independently toggleable — useful for demoing what each one catches on its own.
Flags known virtual-camera/injection software (OBS Virtual Camera, Snap Camera, ManyCam, etc.) by device label. A heuristic, not a guarantee.
Checks that camera/canvas capture functions are still native browser code, not monkey-patched by an injected/malicious script.
Flags physically implausible frame-to-frame face jumps, pooled across the session — consistent with spliced or injected footage rather than a live feed.

Face Match Threshold Settings
Adjust face matching thresholds. Higher cosine threshold reduces false positives but may increase false negatives. Both thresholds must pass for a match to be successful.
💡 Recommended Thresholds:
Standard Verification: Cosine: 0.3630, L2: 1.1280 (recommended sensitivity for face verification)
Cosine similarity (raw, range -1 to 1) must be >= this value. Note: The displayed "Score" is normalized (0-1) = (cosine + 1) / 2. Recommended: 0.3630.
L2 norm distance must be <= this value. Recommended: 1.1280.
